Paradise Sound System is the in-house record label of Paradise Worldwide, positioned at the intersection of African music, global distribution, and cross-cultural collaboration. Rooted in South Africa and connected to an international network, the label operates across Afro-tech, Afro house, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Global club music.

Since its inception, Paradise Sound System has focused on developing artists and projects that extend beyond borders, creating a catalogue that reflects both the diversity of African music and its growing influence on the global stage.

The label has contributed to projects and releases from artists including Gigi Lamayne, Busiswa, Idd Aziz, Marcus Harvey, Money Badoo, Thakzin, Zakes Bantwini, and Blanka Mazimela alongside a new generation of emerging talent shaping the next wave of African music.

Searching For Paradise is a core initiative within the label, developed alongside Africa Rising Music Conference.

Through curated studio sessions, the programme brings together African and international artists, producers, and songwriters, resulting in original recordings that reflect shared musical language and cultural exchange.

These sessions have delivered:

  • Cross-continental collaborations between African and European artists
  • New release pipelines for emerging talent
  • Real-world outcomes including live showcases, releases, and export opportunities

Paradise Worldwide – Berlin based distribution company with over 10 years experience in the industry is focused on empowering artists based on a complete music rights supply chain collection system. We are proud to be their in-house label, representing the African Division of Paradise Worldwide.

Our Partner in Building Bridges – The Africa Rising Music Conference (ARMC), is a female-led event that prioritizes executive-level discussions. ARMC, taking place on May 23–24th 2023 in Johannesburg, aims to revolutionize the African music industry and its global reach. With a diverse array of local and international attendees, the conference will center around the urban and electronic music industries, highlighting the connection between Afro-Euro music styles.

SAMPRA (South African Music Performance Rights Association) is a non-profit organization in South Africa that represents the interests of music performers and record companies by collecting and distributing royalties for the use of their sound recordings.

BLACKHEAD STUDIOS (Germany) – Based in Berlin, from mastering and mixing to the use of state-of-the-art facilities, with a full team of engineers working behind the scenes to get your music to the best standard possible.
